Whippoorwill spelade på KulturNatta i Göteborg - 22 jan 2016
Whippoorwill hade sin debutspelning när Göteborg Open Stage arrangerade spelning på Göteborgs Stadsmuséum i samband med det årliga eventet KulturNatta. Tack till Su som arrangerade ett lyckat event med trevlig publik. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Susanne Hellström visited Nashville for the annual songwriter festival who host the most successful songwriters in Music City, USA. Susanne networked and took the opportunity for some co-writing with Nashville songwriters while she was in town. Susanne Hellström was even lucky to get to perform at the famous Bluebird Café, Commodore Grille and Jed´s Sports Bar.

Whippoorwill are nominated for Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards 2017.
Whippoorwill and singer-songwriter Susanne Hellström have officially accepted their nomination and will go to Texas, United States, in november 2017 to perform at the International Country Music Awards.
Texas Sounds is produced by, and is the major fundraising event for, East Texas Performing Arts.
Texas Sounds is held in Jefferson, Texas, a small town of 1800 residents. This event brings participants from around the world (15 nations in 2015) and audience members from across the nation to Jefferson. Income from this influx of people is an integral part of the economy that keeps Jefferson alive. The worldwide publicity that this event generates is a major boost to the entire county.
International musicians flock to Jefferson in the hopes of winning a Texas Sounds Award. A Texas Sounds award exerts a substantial positive influence on each musician’s career. Texas Sounds attracts the best country artists from every nation.
The fourth annual Texas Sounds will be held November 2, 3, 4, and 5 2017 and will host 20 acts from 12 nations.

Whippoorwill has started a collaboration with Rich Eckhardt, who is going to produce Whippoorwill's Nashville Recordings.
Susanne Hellström is so happy to announce the collaboration with Rich Eckhardt, who is going to produce Whippoorwill's Nashville Recordings.
Rich Eckhardt is the lead guitarist for Country superstar Toby Keith. Rich has a great musical career in Nashville, has performed with many of music’s top icons including Charlie Daniels, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell, Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, Shania Twain, Shane Owens and Jerry Lee Lewis. He has been featured in numerous guitar magazines including Guitar World, Guitar One, Premier Guitar and 20th Century Guitar. Some of you might have seen him appearing in the ABC hit television series Nashville as bandleader for Luke Wheeler (Will Chase). Rich Eckhardt balancing his hectic touring schedule with studio sessions. He has entertained four American presidents and has been seen on most of the industry’s television shows including The Today Show, Super Bowl and The Tonight Show. Whippoorwill has recorded an EP in Nashville, Tennessee.
Susanne Hellström spent september in Nashville to record her debut EP. The EP will include 6 songs written by her self and will be released later this fall. The recordings was produced by Rich Eckhardt and a whole bunch of great musician participated in the project. More details to be shared! The tracks has now been mixed and the mastering has started.

Whippoorwill performed at Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards,
in Jefferson, Texas, United States - nov 2nd 2017.
Whippoorwill was nominated for the 2017 edition of Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards, held annually in Jefferson, Texas. In 3 days country artists from 12 different countries performed. Whippoorwill played the first night of the festival and was nominated for "best original song". She did not take any award with her back home but amazing memories and lots of new friends from all over the world. It was a great opportunity to play for such a big audience in Texas.
